Welcome! I'm so happy you've found my little corner of the internet.

I'm Josie, and I see myself as a loving witness for those brave enough to face their shadows. I hold up a lantern for people to see and break generational patterns, helping them create a legacy of wholeness, healing, and honesty. I do this through tarot divination, mentorship, and writing. I came to this work through my own inner work and process, but it's also written both in my soul contract and the cosmos. The deeper I went, the more I unearthed an endless well of wisdom and a deep desire to share it.

These writing pieces are in the spirit of honoring that desire, and publicly accepting what I've come to do on this earth in this lifetime.

The truth is that I've been writing for 27 years.

It started through letter-writing (yes, the type you put in the mail - gasp!) and has evolved throughout the years (here's a short-lived blog from over a decade ago that I didn't even know was still online!)

Regardless of the format, or whether it was public or not, writing has been a constant and reliable companion and ally in my life for a very long time. I won't even tell you how many journals I go through in a year lol #moleskinforlife

I never thought of myself as a writer, though.

I just thought writing was something I did. And it was. It is.

But I didn't connect it to the bigger picture of my purpose until my grandmother, someone who rarely asked for anything for herself, requested that I write her memoir about a year before she transitioned.

The unusual nature of this ask struck me as significant, though I didn't yet understand how.

Later I realized she was holding the door open to a portal that led to a new identity. I'm grateful to her, and that she walks with me every day, guiding my steps from the spiritual realm.

Josie with the Gems is a collection of personal essays on spiritual and personal growth.

If you want a different perspective on how to do life with intention, integrity, and without losing your shit, you’ve come to the right place. Expect reflections and stories, channeled messages, and spiritual and astrological insights.

I share from the perspective of a big sis who knows and has been through some things, but is still very much walking alongside you on this funny, unhinged, and wild journey called life. I don't view myself as an expert or someone's healer, and I hold others as sovereign over themselves.

There’s a lot I need to share with the collective in the context of what’s happening in the world right now, and the New Earth that’s being born as we live and breathe. What I have to say isn’t for everyone, but it will resonate with those it's meant for. I'll be writing 2-3 pieces a month, most of which will be available to those with a subscription.
