From the outside, I had it all - success, achievements, forward momentum.

But what looked like success was really armor: layers of perfectionism, relentless achievement, and rigid control I'd built to protect myself.

Until life brought me to my knees.

Through painful loss and a body screaming with chronic stress, my carefully constructed defenses began to crack.

In that sacred space between who I'd become and who I needed to be, I faced a choice: continue clutching my old armor of survival, or peel away these layers to rediscover the true me, including the unconditional spiritual support that had always been available to me.

Two profound realizations emerged: the person I'd become to survive wasn't who I really was, and I don't walk this Earth alone.

With my spiritual guides and tools as companions, coupled with years of personal development work, I embarked on a pilgrimage back to myself.

Through this journey, I released patterns of co-dependency and self-abandonment, bondage that held my lineage hostage for generations, and started co-creating a life of deep joy, rest, and impact with my spiritual allies.

I no longer felt the need to go so hard for what I wanted.

Money and accomplishments no longer made me feel safe.

I became strong enough to meet my inherent self-worth face-to-face, and merge with it.

Finally, nothing outside of me had the power to touch the fortress of love and safety I’d built within me.

The more I transformed inwardly, the more my outer world matched, and I started to live a life beyond my wildest dreams.

Today I'm the happiest I've ever been and the freest I've ever felt.

To experience this as a Black womxn, and in the same lifetime as my late grandmother, who lived through a dictatorship and racial genocide, is the literal definition of my ancestors' prayers answered.

It is from this place of embodied experience, possibility, and conviction that I have the honor to serve and help others along their path.
